In addition to her professional experience Terona has a history of working with the elderly and disabled from her personal relationships with loved ones. Terona’s passion for the elderly and disabled stems from taking care of her late grandmother and experiencing her brother growing up with autism.
Terona decided to start a home care agency, because from personal experience she saw how important it is to be in the comfort of your own home. Terona’s great grandmother unfortunately did not have that option of staying home, and passed away shortly after being placed in a nursing home. Losing her grandmother in this way led to Terona’s decision to devote her life to helping the elderly and disabled. She understands the importance to keep that comfort of being home in tact, and opening a home care agency is her way of making a difference.
